This Chapter provides extensive step-by-step descriptions of selected prototyping methods. While it is certainly not complete, this selection still serves as an effective starting point which allows you to prototype a broad range of services or products, whether physical or digital. As service design strives to provide a common language and support co-creation between different disciplines, we have chosen prototyping methods that do not require specialist skills and can be picked up quickly within a workshop setting. While this might sound limiting at first, it allows you to push almost any concept to a point where you can make a safer decision on which experts you actually need to involve in later iterations of the project.
