In this chapter you will learn about the high-level concepts of security intelligence and the definition. Additionally, the chapter will go into great detail on all the various key performance indicators (KPIs) that are associated with security intelligence. Furthermore, the chapter will go into how you build your own security intelligence platform. You will learn about the genesis of security intelligence and the level of effort needed to achieve high-fidelity intelligence.
