Data Simulation

Abstract

In this chapter we cover several topics, such as understanding data simulation, what it is, how it is of great importance when dealing with Indicators of Interest (IOI) and Indicators of Compromise (IOC), and the difference between simulation and emulation. We will be covering simulation and the analytical engines that assist with the data inputs and simulations, and looking at the different types of simulation, along with some data sandboxing, and how the potential use of quantum tunneling can assist in the analytical side of the simulated traffic.

We will also cover how data simulation can be used in threat forecasting as a proactive tool to help and assist security teams remediate/mitigate threats within the enterprise, ...
