Gottesman and Goldsmith (this volume) have provided an excellent and balanced review of the developmental behavioral genetic literature on aggression and antisocial behavior. The thoroughness of their effort precludes the need for additional comment on specific empirical findings in this area. Consequently, I aim, in these comments, to expand upon several of the significant conceptual points Gottesman and Goldsmith made in their chapter.
