In this chapter, you develop the foundation of your skyscraper. (If you haven’t created a floor slab, see Chapter 10.) You find out how you can utilize the workflows of Tinkercad to create a complex design, discover the advantages of the basic shapes available in Tinkercad, and learn how you can use the ViewCube and the Workplane to your advantage well.
Preparing to Add Your Wallls
After you have a foundation slab (see Chapter 10), you can add walls to sit on the slab and form the ground floor of your skyscraper.
Before you get started, you need to get your Workplane and ViewCube working so that you can make sure that your walls are in the right place.
You want your Workplane to sit on the top face of the floor slab. That way, when you place your shapes to form your walls, they will sit on the top face of the floor slab. Simply follow ...
