I’ve looked with my own eyes and I just can’t see files stored on media. This task was easier in the old days, when you could pop out a floppy disk and see the actual media. The data on the media, however, remains encoded as teensy electronic particles, invisible to the naked eye—or even to an eye with clothes on.
