It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Have you ever wanted a diagram of some of your PL/SQL objects, so you can visualize their interdependencies among other coded objects or even the tables that they reference? Some people refer to this as impact analysis, or what all will be affected by coding or database structural changes. Or maybe you need to attend a code review and need a picture to refer to while assessing code. So how does the new code fit in the overall project and what all does it interact with? Toad offers the Code Road Map for just such purposes. As with the ER Diagram (covered in Chapter 5, “Working with Data”), this feature is not meant to construct mammoth models—rather, it’s better for specific and isolated or limited purposes.
