5. Database Reporting
TOAD contains a variety of useful reports. These reports include code advice reporting, database status reporting, and reports about any kind of object in the database (e.g., tables, indexes, code).
This chapter describes ways to modify these reports and build new ones using the Fast Reports interface (using the “Design Selected Report” option). Any TOAD data grid has a “Report” option that allows the SQL used to populate the data grid to be built into a formalized report that can then use this standardized reporting interface.
This chapter also describes how to build an HTML file that documents all objects and relationships per database schema.
