Arcs and Anticipation
Have you ever watched leaves falling from the trees? Have you noticed that they don’t drop straight down but tend float on ever-diminishing arcs, much like the animation I did for my film, Hokusai: An Animated Sketchbook?

As I have said before, only a very fixed mechanical device moves in straight lines; everything else moves in curves or arcs in accordance with their mass or weight.
