Regaining confidence

At the point at which failure is acknowledged by all, blame and finger pointing will be rife. Those left or brought in to revive things must take some immediate steps. This chapter is written in the form of a guide to such people, because they will inevitably be the ones required to act, but hopefully it will provide general insight to all who are affected by and want to understand this.

Talking to staff

The first priority is to revive internal communication to demoralised or indifferent staff. That means communicating immediately, widely and fully, and setting up mechanisms to make good communication the norm.
