Used to be if you wanted to use your computer to manage your finances you had to create your own customized spreadsheets in Excel. That’s no longer necessary; now there are apps for that.
So whether you want to manage your household budget, pay your bills, or track the performance of your portfolio, the first place to look is in the Windows Store. There are a surprisingly large number of strong finance-related apps available for Windows 8.1, and you’re sure to find some of them quite useful.
