When you've finished all your discussions, it's time to put your proposal in writing. The ideal here, of course: she reads it, loves it and says ‘Yes. That's brilliant. Start’.
In many ways, proposal-writing should be the easiest step of all. After all, you've done all the hard work, in that you:
- Managed to get a meeting with a busy Executive – a total stranger.
- Built great rapport with her.
- Impressed her enough at Meeting One so she'd see you again.
- Overcame her objections.
- Overcame your nerves.
- Co-created a solution you're both happy with.
