‘I know this slide is a bit busy, and you won't be able to read it, but …’

But what?

Why are you showing me a slide I can't read?

Isn't the whole point of a slide to simplify or support compelling messages? A picture paints a thousand words. But a thousand words do not paint a good picture. Especially if you can't read them.
