Making It Work
A top management team (TMT) matters for its organization, right? At the end of this book, I hope to have made clear that this is indeed the case. The way in which a TMT makes this impact relates to factors inside the boardroom and factors outside the boardroom. Inside the boardroom, the TMT’s interpersonal processes and states are particularly relevant for achieving high-quality decisions. And outside the boardroom, the way in which the TMT deals with middle managers determines the success of decision implementation. In this last chapter, I will recap the essentials of the previous chapters.
