The actions you take after the actual interview are just as important as what you say during the interview. Your responsiveness, flexibility, and “get it done” attitude make a huge impact on your potential for an offer.
A great statement to open this type of inquiry call would be, “I am very excited about moving forward in the process and wanted to inquire as to the status of my last interview.” or you could simply ask, “Where do we stand in the process?” It is perfectly acceptable to let your coach or contact know that you have other opportunities as long as you do not make it sound like you are forcing them to move faster than their normal process.
