Once the pre-commencement conditions have been discharged and work has commenced, the planning permission is implemented. However, there remains a responsibility to comply with construction stage conditions and to release others. The project has to be constructed in accordance with the approved drawings and documents; therefore, if any changes are made that affect planning, additional consent will be required. Change Control Procedures should identify the implications for the Project Programme and Project Budget of obtaining approval for material and non-material amendments to the planning approval. ...
