Windows 8 is a bold undertaking that brings to the Windows product an impressive array of new capabilities and improved features. Indeed, in many ways Windows 8 is a radical departure from earlier versions of Windows and is intended to enable Microsoft to bring the Windows experience to a wider variety of device form factors, from traditional PCs and laptops to portable tablets and smart phones.
