Group Policy has been the primary method for managing the configuration of Microsoft Windows client and server systems since Windows 2000. Most administrators are familiar with the basics Group Policy, but implementing this technology effectively in a large enterprise environment requires proper planning.
Windows Server 2012 includes a number of improvements in how Group Policy is processed and how it can be managed.
