In Chapter 14 you learned about data quality problems. You also learned how to install and maintain Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Data Quality Services (DQS). It is time to start using DQS to improve the quality of your data.
DQS is a knowledge-driven solution. Therefore, you need to learn how to prepare a knowledge base (KB). Then you use this KB to cleanse data by using data quality projects. In the last lesson of this chapter, you will learn how to profile data with tools other than DQS, such as the SQL Server Information Services (SSIS) Data Profiling task and T-SQL queries.
