Maintenance and evaluation plans are often either overlooked or put together piecemeal as an afterthought. A successful OJT program, however, demands such plans. In this chapter you’ve learned about the components of and ongoing processes for implementing such plans. The maintenance plan should define a process to construct training records; document and maintain the records; continually examine job-related process documentation to ensure compatibility with training modules; and provide procedures for control, distribution, and changes to the modules.
