In 1981, while I was working as a young programmer at AT&T, my boss approached me with a funny look on his face. “I need to talk to you,” he said as we moved into a conference room. “Would you consider becoming a trainer?” His face revealed his embarrassment for having to ask me to take such a horrible job. “Yes!” I exclaimed, thus beginning a wonderful adventure.
