If an organization takes HR seriously, you can be confident they will develop a strong HR department, have good programs, and maybe pick up a few awards along the way. The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has all that, yet there is something more that is hard to put a finger on. At RBC, HR themes mingle with business themes, to the point where it is hard to tell if you are listening to an HR tune or a business one.
