Transformer Connections

Transformer connections and applications have over the years become more varied in their configurations, and in some cases, complicated to understand. The good news is that approximately 90% of all transformer installations are single phase, and with a little study and practice, the theory and techniques of wiring, maintaining, and troubleshooting them can be mastered with ease. It is essential that one understands the single-phase transformer before studying three-phase combinations.
