Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Repair
Anyone who has owned a home or worked in business or industry realizes that maintenance is a fact of life. My father-in-law, while he lived with us, had a policy of fixing one item each day. He said that in this way, 365 things would be in working order during the year and would not have to be thrown away. This added spice to his life and made our home a more efficient and cost effective operation. Unfortunately, since his death, this policy has not been continued, with ensuing emergency repairs, inconveniences, interrupted work schedules, and increased costs.
