Chapter 7. Phase One: Identifying Challenges

The first phase in the transformation to Intent-Based Networking (IBN) is to determine the state of the campus network and the organization. Because an Intent-enabled network, and thus a network based on Cisco DNA, has a number of requirements that must be met, it is important to determine whether it is possible to transform the existing network to IBN at all. Because the transformation has an impact on the organization, some changes need to be executed within the organization as well.
