Introduction

A critical factor in the effectiveness of healthcare delivery is sustaining patient centeredness through meaningful provider-patient communication. When patient satisfaction is high, compliance with medical directives increases, behavioral tendencies to follow up with the provider are strengthened, the inclination to initiate litigation against providers diminishes, and 30-day readmission rates are lower.
