This book offers an alternative way of thinking about our—human—relationships to each other, to nature, to businesses and other institutions, and to wealth than is dominant in much of the so-called developed world. It offers a way of thinking about transforming what we today call our economies—but that really are our societies with their embedded economies. It is not necessarily a new way, though. In fact, it is based in many ways on ancient wisdom—Indigenous wisdom and principles that give life to systems—that can help each of us do our part to transform our world for the better.
