If you've made it this far, you are the real MVP. I know that was a lot of information for you to process in all of the chapters. When writing this book, some things were important to me. I wanted to share glimpses of my story but did not want it to read as a memoir. I wanted to make sure that the book was full of helpful information you could apply that was supported by data instead of just sharing personal anecdotes. I stayed true to that vision in writing this book, but I found that when I was finished, some things had been left unsaid.

This appendix is meant to bridge the gap between my desire to ensure this is a practical resource and my desire to allow you to take a more personal look at my feelings on this subject. To this end, I have written this appendix. That is not to say that this information cannot also be used to inform your behavior, but it is meant to convey that this section will read a little more like a sharing of my thoughts and feelings than the book's main content. I hope you find this to be just as valuable.
