Abstract
The proliferation of Internet-based digital resources has increased the need for well designed digital information environments. Competition is fierce as users rapidly ‘surf the web’ in search of information, entertainment and social connection. Twenty-first-century information-seekers have little patience for confusing interfaces, poor use of media, or sites that are difficult to navigate and understand.
