Automatic Electric Dryers
Automatic electric dryers are not complicated to repair. The more you know about the electrical, mechanical, and operational basics of the dryer, the easier it is to solve the problem. Some models are designed to operate on 240 volts; other models operate on 120 volts. To dry clothing, an automatic dryer must have drum rotation (clockwise rotation at 40 to 60 RPM), electric heat (approximately 5600 watts), and air circulation.
