17Post-Launch Coaching
Once you have trained the managers and team members and have successfully launched a new TSP team, you may feel that the coaching job is done. This is not true. If you do not work closely with the team, at least for the first few weeks after the launch, the members almost certainly will not use the TSP properly, and they could even abandon it. Immediately after the launch is when teams most need the help and guidance of a qualified TSP coach. This chapter describes the steps required to coach a TSP team after the launch.
