Ideal schools will differ according to the needs and desires of their constituents. They all, however, would share some key characteristics. All are devoted to encouraging the maximal possible realization of each student’s aspirations. All provide an environment in which students define their own goals, are activated by self-motivation to work toward realizing their goals, and are given free reign to learn (on their own and with the collaboration of others) in such manner and at such pace as they wish.
