An article in the Guardian1 stated how senior Google, Twitter, and Facebook programmers, those who helped make their technology so addictive, are disconnecting themselves from the very social media platforms that they themselves created.
In the article, Justin Rosenstein talks about how he had tweaked his laptop's operating system to ban himself from Snapchat, which he compares to heroin, and imposed limits on his use of Facebook.
