The Russell Miller Theater was presenting a musical based on O’Henry’s well-known short story, The Gift of the Magi. Hair plays a crucial role in this tale of young lovers giving each other the perfect Christmas present. The young wife treasures her beautiful long hair, but in a selfless gesture, she sells it to buy a gift for her husband.
