Chapter Three: Fuzzy data envelopment analysis

Abstract

The classical data envelopment analysis (DEA) model assumes all the inputs and outputs are crisp values. However, in many real-world cases, the inputs and outputs cannot be measured in a precise way. In this chapter, the fuzzy form of the DEA models of Chapter 2 are presented and some solution approaches are introduced to tackle them and obtain their equivalent crisp form.
