Audio electronics

One of the principal aims of audio electronics is the true recording and reproduction of sound. Other aspects of audio electronics include the generation of musical sounds, a topic that is dealt with later in the chapter. In describing recording and reproduction we refer only to musical instruments, but most of what is said applies also to speech and song as well as other sounds and noises.
