About this Book

This book takes the position that augmented reality is a medium. Although technology is critical in carrying out the implementation of augmented reality, the book focuses more on the information, experience, and interaction that is involved with augmented reality. This book is not a “how-to” guide for programming augmented reality applications, nor is it a tutorial on assembling an augmented reality system. Nonetheless, there is plenty of useful information in this book that will help guide developers and those who study augmented reality and its applications.
