Camera Menus

Although digital camera menus vary slightly from one type of camera to another, and even between similar cameras made by different manufacturers, there are some core options that are common to most cameras and which need to be considered in order to obtain the best pictures. As was the case for the previous chapter, the most detailed discussions of particular points (in this case image quality) are left to another chapter. The purpose of this chapter is to provide more of an overview and its contents are meant to complement the information given in your camera’s user guide. Once again, this information could also provide some useful pointers to things to look for if you are about to buy a new digital camera.
