Image Editing

In an ideal world digital photographs would be perfect at their moment of capture but in reality things can go wrong and it is nice to be able to improve the quality of pictures after they are taken. When using film this is difficult for most people because film developing and printing is a largely automated process, though there has always been the option to have pictures hand-printed and improved to some degree, but at greater cost, if the image is really important. Similarly, there are skilled retouchers who can remove blemishes from, or even add hand-colouring to, photographic prints.
