Not only are people with high levels of emotional intelligence good at understanding and managing their own emotions they’re good at understanding and managing other people. People with emotional intelligence are good communicators; they listen, know what to say and what not to say, when to say it and how. Typically, emotionally intelligent people are considerate and positive people, and this helps them to sense the emotional needs of others.
