For most of us, browsing the internet, or “surfing the world wide web,” is one of the top uses for our personal computer, tablet, or smartphone. Whereas in the physical world, it is relatively easy to distinguish good neighborhoods from bad, in the virtual world different neighborhoods, businesses, and even countries are all just a click away from each other.
