Appendix A. CISCO Routers

It is very important that all network administrators know at least the basics of working with CISCO routers since CISCO is considered the dominant company in this area. Routers of some other manufacturers and also daemon GNU Zebra (http://www.zebra.org/) use similar configuration languages to that which CISCO uses. In this book, we provided examples of not only the configuration of operating systems such as UNIX and Windows, but also of the CISCO configuration language.
