I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Symbols Used with Numbers
Of course, Unicode includes a vast collection of signs and symbols. We'll examine these characters in two separate sections. This section deals with those symbols that are used with numbers or in mathematical expressions.
Numeric Punctuation
Many of the cultures that use Arabic positional notation employ punctuation marks in numerals. For example, Americans use the period to separate the integral part of the number from the fractional part of the number; in large numbers, we use a comma every three digits to help make the numeral easier to read.
