Climate Change

In predicting an unknown future, climate change plays a large part in the guess work. Here, it is necessary to separate the difference between climate change absolute, as climate has been changing since the earth began, from man-made contribution to changing climate.1 Having made the distinction, the fact that climate change appears to influence living conditions, this will influence job losses while perhaps providing some opportunities.

To put this in perspective in regard to its effect on employment, NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center satellite data reports an 80mm rise in sea levels between 1993 and 2017, or 3.2mm a year (±0.4), with the last two years falling off.
