Las Vegas is one of our favorite places, and if you know us, then you know we always like to include a little Vegas in our books. Way back in the early 2010s, Scott sent out a tweet asking his followers to guess the name of the ’80s hair metal band he was listening to. Whoever guessed right, Scott promised to buy them lunch next time he was in their city for a speaking gig. Typical answers came in (you’re probably saying them right now): Poison, Mötley Crüe, etc. Then a reply came in that simply said, “Stryper?” And Scott had a winner, Mike Snedegar, who along with his musical clairvoyance, also happened to live in Las Vegas and, as you’ll see, knows a few things about the entertainment industry.
Mike is the entertainment marketing director for TAO Group Hospitality, based in Las Vegas. Alison sat down with Mike to talk about leadership, here are some highlights from our interview recorded.

MY NAME IS MIKE SNEDEGAR and my job is to create, maintain, and expand upon relationships with people in the entertainment industry that carry a certain amount of influence. That could be an actor, musician, rapper, pop star, influencer, athlete, someone in the adult film industry, an agent, manager, or publicist, anybody that carries influence in the world of entertainment.
