Essential Activities for the Designer

Because designing is an activity, we need particular actions to move the process forward. There are three principles that are useful throughout the entire design process, from the initial play reading to the final product. The first is an essential mindset: keep looking, even after you’ve found it. Next are idea-generation techniques: brainstorming and free-writing. Finally, keeping a sketchbook of your ideas and progress will pull you through to the final product.
