DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN UPGRADE AND IMPLEMENTATION
There are many similarities between an SAP upgrade project and an SAP implementation project. In both cases an in-depth knowledge is required on business processes and how they are mapped in SAP R/3.
6.1 IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT
For most companies, the implementation of SAP products is done by externally hired SAP consultants, which are hired through agencies and through IT consultancy companies.
