HARDWARE-RELATED ITEMS
Hardware and other infrastructure is an important item for SAP projects. Two phases can be distinguished during the life cycle of an SAP application: infrastructure deployment and support. During the infrastructure support phase, demands or requirements can change. Thinking about adding more users and interfaces to the system or an SAP release upgrade? These demand changes need to be translated to extra infrastructure: more servers, more CPU capacity, more memory capacity, and, of course, more storage capacity (both disk and tape).
