Introduction

Projections of a global population approaching the nine-billion mark make it reasonable to expect that the planet will come under increasing stress and so too its ability to host an environment that is livable and sustainable for the entire human race. With connectivity between people of different ethnic origins and values having to share limited space, governments will need to be able to define the most favorable parameters within which people can live and carry out their daily functions while at the same time enjoying a conducive environment in safety.
