Predicting the Future

Humans emerged from their caves or climbed down from the trees to first wander the earth, living on hunting, then went on to “slash and burn” before planting crops and settling down in habitats. Over centuries, there were major leaps forward with inventions such as fire and the wheel. Later, eyeglasses were invented, allowing science to look at and design the small, while telescopes explored the heavens. Cities were formed while eyes still looked to the stars. Just over a 100 years ago man took to flight, and in July 1969, men landed on the moon. Today, they are planning to populate Mars.
